Already have a GPS tracker? Link it to Managix

Managix guide · 24 October 2026 · for transporters, fleet owners and clearing agents in Kenya and Tanzania

Many fleet owners in Kenya already pay for a GPS tracker. Good — keep it. A tracker answers where is my truck? Managix answers the questions a tracker cannot: what did that trip earn, what did it cost, and who still owes me for it?

Two different jobs

How they work together

Your tracker keeps watching the road. In Managix’s Telematics screen you paste each truck’s live-map link from your GPS provider, plus one link for the whole fleet — then from any truck or trip, one tap opens where it is right now. Managix keeps the books on the same trucks: each trip's rate, fuel, allowance and costs, the invoice it turns into, and the payment that settles it. Odometer readings from your tracker can be entered into Managix to keep service dates and cost per kilometre accurate.

Managix opens your provider’s live map rather than reading the tracker’s data feed, so speed, fuel-sensor and driver-behaviour alerts stay in your tracker’s own app. Works with Cartrack and any GPS provider that gives a share link.

Who this suits

  • Fleet owners who know where their trucks are, but not which trips make money.
  • Transporters who hire other people's trucks as well as running their own.
  • Clearing agents who also move the containers they clear.

Let Managix do this sum for every job

Managix works out the profit on every container and trip as you enter it — fleet, cargo and clearing in one system, from USD 19 a month.

Questions

Does Managix work with GPS tracking?

Yes. Its Telematics screen links each truck and the whole fleet to your GPS provider’s live map, one tap away from any truck or trip. Managix adds the business side the tracker does not cover — trip costs, invoices, payments and profit.

Do I need a GPS tracker to use Managix?

No. Managix works with or without a tracker.
